Grant Approval
Today is a great day. I just got the call that the Highmark grant is approved. Our middle school is going to receive $9,400 dollars towards a interactive gamebike/DDR fitness center. We will have 4 bikes and 4 DDR stations. I am so excited to get this grant. I encourage all of you to apply. I sent the grant in two weeks ago and already got the go ahead response.

Congratulations!!! That is wonderful. It is great to see other teachers taking advantage of the available funds. It's sad that some won't take the time to write it. Of the grants I've looked into over the past year, this was by far the easiest to pursue for the amount of money. You seem very motivated. Your district should commend you for your additional work and dedication.
Job well done Harry! This is one thing I look forward to doing once I obtain that full time position in a school. From substituting in the different schools that I have thus far, I can tell that the PE programs could definitely benefit and use the grant money to enhance the program.
